Enterprise Aurora: Print publishing

Starting out in InDesign, you access your pre-defined templates through Smart Connection. You choose one of your layout templates. You assign your layout to the second issue and save your layout in an existing dossier. In the dossier there is already a draft article and an image available. You simply drag and drop the article and the image onto the layout. By saving the changes in InDesign, they are automatically saved in Enterprise. Your Copy Editor receives a notification in their Content Station inbox that a story is ready for review. They open the story in their print editor, and adjust the title and body text. The overset indicator in red shows that the story does not quite fit. Changes are displayed instantly. They then set the status of the story to ‘ready’ and route it to the Managing Editor for final review. Meanwhile, your Managing Editor opens the publication overview to check how the issue is progressing. They can see in the full-screen preview that the status is green and the story is ready to publish. If further edits are required, the story can be directly opened in InDesign.
