Printing from Apple iOS to an HP Printer | HP Printers | HP

From Apple iOS, you can print from most
applications to a wireless HP printer. First, make sure your printer is powered on
and connected to a wireless network. On your Apple iOS device, open Wi-Fi settings
and make sure you are connected to the same wireless network
as the printer. Open the document, photo, email, or web page
you want to print, and then tap the Share icon. Tap Print or the Print icon. Tap Select Printer and select your printer. Change any desired print settings, and then tap Print. The item prints according to your settings.

  • Hi, I made all the settings you showed in the video, but when I select the picture to remove the document, do not let me press the "print" button, what do I have to do?

  • When trying to print a photo from my iphone, there is no option to change the paper type to photo paper. It stays on Letter with no drop down to select anything else.

Crap I follow every step and troubleshoot as well and still trying to connect to printer ….. it doesn’t WORK Grrrrrrrrrr

  • Does HP Envy 5540 print cellphone documents. Can I just hook up an adapter USB to from my cellphone to the printer would that work? Or do I have to download a special kind of app on my phone?

  • I have an acer laptop, which is not windows or Mac. So, I can’t print from that. But I do have an iPhone so, I was planning on printing from that. And I need to set up my printer from my iPhone. (I have an HP Deskjet 3755) anyways, I downloaded the Hpsmart app. And tried following the steps to set up my printer. But, the first step is to go into my printers WiFi. So, I went to the WiFi but there is a password. And still have no idea what it is. Can you please help? I’m starting to think about returning it because it’s too difficult. Please help me 🙂

  • Hi I did everything in this but still it needs extra steps to be followed.I read a blog related to setting up printer process in Apple iOS,I think it would be helpful for others who is wandering to fix it,Reach out to

  • Yes, I have done all of this correctly, but will print in the size of my iPhone and I want the picture to fill the 8×10 page instructional purposes.  What am I doing wrong?  I can print full page on the business next to me, but not on mine???

  • my network is programmed ok for all my devices infact I can print from my PC to the HP pro8710 and from my iphone to a Lexmark printer ok but I can not print from my iphone to the HP printer. I ask Hp support for a fix and they transfer me to a thecnician in India whom after examining the situation he wants $ 260.00 for a year protection or $ 360.00 for two years.that is the cost to fix an $ 100.00 printer and that if I chose to go to Microsoft for a fix it will cost me double. My take is that if he knows how to fix this problem, so should I with the help of peers on the net. I will not pay anybody. If HP sell these printer the should fix my problem for free and not ransome me to third party in India.

  • From an iPhone or iPad, where is the option to select Black and White?  In the App I can switch this for pictures/files… but in the native iPhone airprint, the only option is how many copies.  Any suggestions?

  • For everyone that’s having problems with it saying “no air printers found”. I have an envy 5055, and you have to manually go in on the printer click wireless icon>settings icon>wireless setup (it’ll say you’ve already it done it but do it again) and follow the prompts and manually enter your wireless password then try to print from your iOS device. Both printer and device has to be on same network.

  • The problem is with the people who program these printers, etc. They don’t see the whole picture or haven’t tested things out.
