  • hey, nothing much or important, but your videos tent to be a little overexposed. i dunno if that is intentional but sometimes it makes things hard to see. maybe you could keep an eye out for it and see if there is any possibility to avoid it perhaps. but otherwise great video. keep on the good work <3

  • Woah my fiskars paper cutter cuts crocked also!? You are a wonderful painter! I love your style, whoever said your not can eat a sock! Lol. 😊💕💜👍🌠🧡🤩🤪✌️

  • This scene is so adorable, I love the style. Also ducks are great! 🦆 Me and my fiancee like to watch/feed the ducks so I keep posting duck pictures on my Instagram ><

  • Oh my! I was very confused and irritated that my screen was dirty, and I just couldn't wipe it off?! Then I realized it was Chloe's desk, not my phone screen. 😂

  • Lmao. “Not an artist because you did’nt post some art in 3 videos”? So what! You probably srill painting something everyday or ever ither. You are other things beside an artist. Thats like saying macdonalds is nt a burgerplace because they offer other things as well. Lol. Love the LiquidTex products! Great video, Chloe 💪🏼👋🏼🙆🏼‍♀️👙👓🐌🦋🦑🍄☀️🥓🦴

  • I feel like talking is not needed in speedpaint. You said you find it boring, but for me it's just relaxing and satisfying to watch, kinda like asmr

  • I think the Tonic paper trimmers are good. Just in case you're interested I recently bought a silicone covered ice cube tray to use with paints. The silicone cover keeps the paints from getting all over.

  • paper cutters

I would recommend not waiting time and money on the slide rule paper cutters.
I use a x acto guillotine paper cutter for most of my cuts. Its not the cheapest option but you should be able to find it for 60$ regular price. With coupons this can be a reasonable option that lasts years and years to come.

A more expensive and versatile option would be to get a cricut. It is a very versatile tool and can change your life as an artist. I like to use the cricut to make stencil's for spray painting art and use it to cut equal squares from all different paper types so I can bind my work.

  • I always enjoy watching you paint 🙂 I still have soooo much to learn about my water colours, but I really would love to have a bit more time and motivation for it again. Been a bit lazy with painting these past few weeks.

  • Seems like a waste of paint looking at your palette since it dries so fast. Curious what happens if you did add some water to paint or painting since you’re just experimenting.

  • Hi everyone! I just wanted to clarify when I said “I feel like speedpaints can be boring” moreso referring to myself, I really enjoy speedpaints if they are fun and quirky, or have great voiceover or music, but for me personally, I feel like I always make my speedpaints a bit boring so I don’t always tend to do them much because I feel like others think that too?? Maybe I’m wrong haha. I have friends who do speedpaints weekly and absolutely love. They are pros at narrating their content and I find them really fun and relaxing 🙂

  • we used gouache at school and you can scratch it off to make texture (well thats what our teacher told us we could do anyway) but yeah 🤷‍♀️

  • Anyone else tired of the “weird/crazy” titles on “art channels” not knowing about “art” supplies that have been on your radar for awhile?

  • Hey Chloe! I'm curious if you've used a tear bar before? You can cut as big or as small a piece of paper you want, plus it leaves a deckle edge which is so pretty. Plus they're sharp, so yay danger. :p Best!

  • I remember being bit by a duck when i was very young. I was really surprised it hurt… No idea what i was expecting i was young.

  • In terms of what to talk about while the painting footage rolls, I think generally talking about how you planned the piece and the process. You skipped over the sketching and the thought process of the colors and just kinda said off handedly later that it's a nature scene and you used mostly greens. That's a description of the final image. What was the initial plan for the piece? Did you know the shades you wanted and where or was it an experimentation? How did you create the specific colors you wanted, and what struggles did you have with building or layering the colors in certain areas? If something didn't work the way you thought, how did you adjust? Are you happy with the piece? That type of thing.

  • Hi I just found your channel and I must say I really like it !!! Your just honestly your self and I really appreciate that. I will definitely continue to check in on what your doing.

I purchased this and it was good quality and cheap hope it helps

  • Ooh ooh, skill share class idea- digital art workflow! I personally always struggle to know the right order to do stuff in, and whether there's an easier way to go about it- especially when I see ppl do digital speed paints that look amazing and it only took them 2 hours! Like, what am I doing wrong that it takes me 3 days man, halp?! >.<

  • To be honest I love watching you do you =) You are super entertaining, nice and I love to laugh along with you.. I love your art whenever you do what you feel is right..? If that makes sense? Your bears and scenery are awesome! I loved watching you with Jaime too =)

  • You should look into a stay-wet art pallet. It keeps acrylic/acryla gouache on the pallet moist while painting and even up to a few days if stored correctly. You can get them on amazon for sure, and probably in local art stores if you look a bit.

  • You could do a "how to create your own disney character" video on skillshare, also, dont doubt yourself, all of your work is amazing, persevere through your doubt

  • For your videos, I don't feel bored when I listen to you!

I'd love to hear storytimes from you! Whether things that happened to you, or a story about some character in a scene your doing etc. Like a little journey.

I watch/listen to you to relax more than learn…though I do end up learning so much in the end… Thanks for all your hard work posting these!

  • Liked the review of the paints….that was super fun and having it accompany a short speed paint was just right. I thought this video had a nice balance.

  • Id love to learn more of like the scenery type! I am terrible at details when painting – like how you layered the different blues and stuff to make it more like water! I dunno if that made sense sorry !

  • Nice painting! I love nature scenes best. I use watercolors and am new to using gouache paint. I’ve tried painting with gouache and do find it tricky to get the consistency just right. If I leave it too thick it tends to crack, so i will go back and rewet the gouache and try to lift back some of the paint with a damp brush. I I heard about Liquitex Acrylic Gouache and wondered how good they are. I’m glad you got to review them and enjoyed your video.

  • i would prefer it if you would create a class or youtube tutorial with tips on how you create sceneries and stills with your painting, such as how you made the bear painting in ZHC's video

  • This stuff sounds great in Nail Art, instead of the Acrylic paint as a in between art layer but this?
Does anyone here has tried if it is good to use in the Nail Art? So, both for the Acrylics and gel polish ?

  • Maybe do a video explaininv a bit more on how you make the scenery? Because I really love how your scenery turns out every time

  • Well young lady I love watching your videos! I am much older than you and your quite entertaining and I dislike music over a “speed painting” I love listening to the Artist creating their art. Sometimes the voiceover can wander but that is enlightening too! I love every piece of art that I have gotten from you! Personally I think this new category of paints is/are a gimmick to sell more acrylic paints. Why not call it Matt acrylic paint? I think you just talking about creating your art is enough for your voiceover topic. I love your Pooh art and your scenic work as well, I still get people asking me about my Art Block pin and I will not draw your cat pin too! Please keep posting videos that you enjoy making and we will keep watching!

  • Chloe are you OK? You seem to be making a lot of self deprecating jokes. Sending happy vibes either way, but just wanted to ask incase no-one had.

  • Gorgeous! ❤️ I loved the image you posted on Instagram! So glad to have finally watched the video! ❤️
It was great to see you really enjoying the paint too! Looking forward to seeing more painting videos! 😁❤️

  • Chloe, a while ago you stated you wanted to do more digital painting because that's where you find your most happiness. I think you should do that for your Skillshare video.
Your channel and branding is Chloe Rose Art so it's nice to see more art in general from you. The hacks and unboxing are fun but speaking personally, I really enjoy seeing you art.
I love gouache. I love acrylic. This is the best of both worlds. The matte illustrative look to gouache without the reactivity of watercolor. And you did a beautiful job with this piece.

  • Who tf said she wasn't a real artist just for not doing art in 3 videos? She has a life outside of Youtube and art takes a long time to do so of course she won't be able to do a piece on every single video! Smh people lost common sense and courtesy

  • I don‘t know how often you have to cut paper but i would recommend a cutter where you can replace the blade by yourself and one that s u to 40cm paper. They are about 50£ but i prefer a nice cut and no mental breakdown.

  • I was looking for new paints and saw this stuff online yesterday and here’s a new video from you about it!!! Now I really want it…..

  • Loved the little painting and style but definitely kills me you didn't use that other cute set ! Lol please either do another vid or post a pic on IG of how those colors worked for you ♥️ I'd really like to see it ! As for what to say when talking over the speed painting honestly..whatever ..some other ppl I follow talk about their life or past stories that I really enjoy ..helps get to know them better ..but again whatever 😁
